Over 10 years experience in photography and 17 years in the art of Tarot. A sassy, spirited but down-to-earth woman, Marisa first started in the cut-throat fashion industry. Rejecting the beauty industry’s unrealistic beauty standards and body dictatorship, Marisa found inspiration in art forms like burlesque and classic pin-ups. Creating the Tarot deck has been one of the greatest and most rewarding challenges.

Matt Risk is a magician like no other. Balancing the real and the illusion, his tricks have baffled, entranced and delighted audiences, Canada-wide. Matt’s passion for magic began at the tender age of 8. As he grew, this interest flowered into a fascination with the art of prestidigitation, on one hand, and the more mystical art of the Shaman and the Hermeticist on the other. This journey, which has taken him from the deep Canadian woods to the stage, makes Matt into the dark and mysterious mage that he is today, leaving audiences wondering whether Matt Risk is truly magic or a master of illusion. Be it close magic card tricks, mentalism, mythic conjuring or his signature bizarism show, Matt Risk scales the fine line between the authentic and the counterfeit, and the numinous area where one becomes the other. His act is an attempt to reconcile the two: to challenge firmly held beliefs through trickery and entrance the mind into a state of agnosis, perhaps the only place where reality can actually be observed directly. Matt performs regularly around Montreal and has shared the stage with some of Canada’s most promising burlesque and strange talent.
